<p>This is an incredibly inspirational story about a young man from a small village in Africa who didn&#8217;t shatter any boundaries&#8230;he simply walked right through them.</p>
<p>At the age of 14, he figured out how to build a windmill, simply by looking at some photographs in a library book.</p>
<p>His family and the others in his village were skeptical—in fact, a lot of people thought he was nuts—but when his thoughtfully-engineered contraption built from bicycle and tractor parts brought electricity to their home for the first time, they were both convinced and astounded.</p>
<p>His idea of what he could accomplish wasn&#8217;t held back by thinking &#8220;I don&#8217;t have the money&#8221; or &#8220;Nobody&#8217;s ever done this before&#8221; or &#8220;What will people think?&#8221;</p>
<p>Instead it was more like: &#8220;Wow, what a cool idea! I&#8217;m going to do that!&#8221;</p>
<p>Watch this little video, and ask yourself&#8230;what would you do if you chose to ignore your so-called &#8220;limitations&#8221;?</p>
<p><object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" width="425" height="344" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><param name="src" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/arD374MFk4w&amp;hl=en_US&amp;fs=1&amp;" /><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="344" src="http://www.youtube.com/v/arD374MFk4w&amp;hl=en_US&amp;fs=1&amp;" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object></p>
<p>You can read more about William&#8217;s story at his web site <a href="http://www.williamkamkwamba.com" target="_blank">www.williamkamkwamba.com</a>, and in his own memoir, <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0061730327?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=theartcom-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;creativeASIN=0061730327">The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind: Creating Currents of Electricity and Hope</a><img class=" qershhbfnbzpwhiwyfjd qershhbfnbzpwhiwyfjd qershhbfnbzpwhiwyfjd qershhbfnbzpwhiwyfjd qershhbfnbzpwhiwyfjd qershhbfnbzpwhiwyfjd qershhbfnbzpwhiwyfjd qershhbfnbzpwhiwyfjd qershhbfnbzpwhiwyfjd qershhbfnbzpwhiwyfjd qershhbfnbzpwhiwyfjd qershhbfnbzpwhiwyfjd ddaumnsllkamcwcerxes ddaumnsllkamcwcerxes ddaumnsllkamcwcerxes ddaumnsllkamcwcerxes" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=theartcom-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=0061730327" border="0" alt="" width="1" height="1" />, which he co-wrote with Bryan Mealer.</p>
